Seven50 Plan - Does It Move Us Further To The European Model?

The Seven50 Plan is suppose to be a model for the rest of the nation as a 50-year blueprint to help ensure economic prosperity and the best-possible quality of life.  It is a program to bring together autonomous cities and counties to work as one in the formation of a super-region that will “guide” the area in its attempt to improve the inhabitants “quality of life.”  Sounds like the “Plan” will determine for the collective what “quality of life” means rather then the individual.  These “Super-Regions” will be combined to form “Mega-Regions” which would be one of ten Mega-Regions throughout the country.  Seven50 is the result of a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development’s Sustainable Communities Initiative. The grant was secured by the South Florida Regional Planning Council and the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council to fund the multi-year regional dialogue.  Below is the new layout of what America would look like when the U.N., I mean the U.S. Plan is fully implemented.

Delray Beach, FL is where they convened the opening public “summit” for discussing a plan for growth and economics in the southeast seven counties (Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River.) of Florida for the next 50 years.  There were more than 500 attendees consisting of urban planners, business and civic leaders, elected officials, government leaders, activists, and some residents.
The “Opening Summit: State of the Region” on June 27 goal is to create stronger, more diverse communities, a cleaner environment and a stronger economy for the region.  Attendees discussed a variety of areas that they believe need attention and improvement, including: mass transit; environmental stewardship; water supply; business diversity, and economic resilience.  They shared visions of a more pedestrian-friendly mega-region that balances the need to accommodate population growths while retaining the cultural integrity and character of local communities.
Currently, six work groups are actively focused on the following topics:
§                     Education, Workforce and Economic Development
§                     Development Patterns
§                     Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture
§                     Climate Resilience
§                     Community Assets and Agriculture
§                     Inclusive Regional Leadership and Equity

Remember, it was U.S. President George H.W. Bush who made U.N. Agenda 21 official during a signing ceremony at the Earth Summit.  He signed the pledge to adopt the goals of Agenda 21 along with more than 178 other nations.  Then in 1995, President Bill Clinton, in compliance with Agenda 21, pushed the initiative into policy by signing Executive Order #12858 to create the President’s Council on Sustainable Development in order to “harmonize” U.S. environmental policy with U.N. directives as outlined in Agenda 21.  The EO directed all agencies of the Federal Government  to  work  with state  and local  community  governments in

United Nations Agenda 21 Three Pillars

a joint effort to "reinvent" government using the guidelines outlined in Agenda 21.  As a result, with the assistance of groups like ICLEI, Sustainable Development is now emerging as government policy in every town, county and state in the nation and this is the largest, most formalized initiate to take us fully under the auspices of the United Nations.  Seven50 is being pushed by our Federal government in a program to consolidate and regionalize the nation.  Is One World Government, lost U.S. Autonomy and Individual Liberty and Freedom on its way?

The EPA, HUD and DOT through the Clinton EO are supplying the funds necessary for these “studies” that are in fact linking the South Florida Regional Planning Council with the Treasure Coast Planning Council.  Above are the Three Pillars of Agenda 21; Social, Environment and Economic – the same as discussed in the Seven50 Plan.  This is not being pushed by one particular party but rather we must look at this for what it is, a bi-partisan scheme of the political elite of both parties to en-slave the American people under the auspices of saving the planet from “climate change.”

Today, Americans of both parties (Democrat and Republican) are pushing back against this policy in many ways.  One critical method being used to usurp your individual rights is by changing the rules on how a governmental entity can “take” land.  Many states are now pushing back by instituting new law that clearly defines the only way private land can be “taken” for “public use.”  States kicked into action after the disastrous 2005 Supreme Court decision in Kelo v New London in which it changed the meaning of “public use” in the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution to now mean “public benefit.”  Prior to this decision “public use" has always been defined to mean something needed that was actually used by the public such as roads, bridges, schools, etc. when a municipality wanted to “take” private land, but now that they have changed the wording to mean “public benefit” it can now be defined as almost anything.  In the above referenced case it was interpreted to mean that by taking this women’s home and selling it to a developer the local government would collect more taxes from the new project then they would have collected in property taxes from Ms. Kelo so the public was “benefited” by this taking.  This marks the first time is U.S. history that a local government could seize newly renovated property from a private citizen and give it to a private developer purely for the welfare of government.  Was that municipality and the Supreme Court looking out for the interests of the individual citizen or of the government?

As quoted from the Seven50 website, “the whole world will watch and learn from the steps we take…” said Marcela Camblor, Seven50 project director. “Furthermore, the regulatory mechanisms that Florida implements on a state level can help our entire country learn how to create more resilient economic conditions. That’s where Seven50 comes in.  It’s an investment plan that will help ensure that the future investments made into our region are the right ones.”  Is this the democratic republic of America, or is it socialized Europe?

It is their desire for the “Plan” to ensure that investments are the right ones – not the private sector, the individual but rather this public, political sector will do the deciding for what, where and how you will live, work and play that best fits their picture of what the region should look like in the future.  So when you see in your local paper that there is to be a public forum for Seven50 (SE Florida), or your local county or city Comprehensive Plan please take note and attend these meetings/seminars/forums so your voice is heard.  This is the primary way to weaken these detrimental plans to our individual freedom and liberty.

Our democratic representative republic requires that YOU be involved, please do so!
