The Morning After

Today, we awake to a country that has elected its first socialist progressive President.  The “shining city on the hill” now has a little less sheen and is growing dimmer by the day.  The “Free Stuff” crowd won out over the “Freedom” crowd.  Yes, Mr. Obama was our president prior to this and yes, he has very much been a big government, anti-colonialist, limited liberty, socialist progressive but alas, we also know the overwhelming majority of people do not read nor study the background of our politicians prior to, nor after an election for that matter, so I give them a pass for not understanding who this man was in 2008.  However, today we know exactly who this man is – this unaccomplished, egotistical man – who was elected on “Hope and Change,” two times!  We are certain today what he actually meant with that slogan; it was his hope of changing this “shining city on a hill,” the worlds longest standing democratic republic, into one of the many ordinary social democracies that ring the world barely staying ahead of the dictators and communist regimes around them.  Just another one of the many nations proclaiming a system that offers its people a future of little more then the basic essentials of life and little hope.  Why should we have more then another nation – I am sure the “other nations think they are exceptional” as well, so we should “just take a pill,” swallow it and be happy.

NO, I WILL NOT COMPLY.  It is time for this conservative, this American that loves our country and its foundation built on God and a Constitution that gives “We the People” a voice and the same opportunity to achieve and be whatever we want to be based on our own hard work and guile, to stand up and push back.  I for one will continue the fight against post-modern thinking and the culture it inspires that believes God is dead; a culture that only asks, what’s in it for me; a culture that believes that whatever is true for you is the truth; a culture that believes man is the ultimate authority and knows best; a culture that believes that government provides all things to all people; a culture that believes that liberty and self-reliance are bad; a culture that believes success is bad; a culture that no longer holds honor in high esteem.  NO, I WILL NOT COMPLY.

As we continue to pile up our debt with ever growing annual deficits, and see ever rising food (up 25%) and energy cost (up 100%), with declining opportunity, declining standard of living (real middle class income down $4,500); declining morals (some states voted in doctor assisted suicide), declining purchasing power with an every declining dollar, we must push back.  We must educate the country that God is Alive and has been a part of this country since he inspired our founders to freedom and liberty to write the Constitution we have lived by for 235+ years.  Today, we also awake with a country divided like no time before.  A country that tallied 116,500,000 total votes with the left, the socialists, the “free stuff” crowd with 59.5 million votes and the Godly, “freedom” lovers totaling 57 million votes – we have to continue to grow our numbers through conservative principals, values and Gods help.

Here’s more you should have known prior to this election.  Presidential policies on taxes, rules, regulations, spending, etc. govern how American businesses operate.  If there is hostility or even uncertainty then employers will not expand production and hire additional workers or at the very minimum, stay in America.  President Obama’s friend, Job Czar and beneficiary of our stimulus dollars, GE CEO Jeffery Immelt showed us what he was going to do, he closed one of GE’s largest divisions and moved it and those thousands of jobs to China.  Obama’s hand picked CEO for Government Motors (GM) Dan Akerson, told us what they were going to do, “Our commitment to working in China, with China, for China remains strong and focused on the future.”  Yes, GM currently has 11 joint ventures with China and wants to grow more.  Glad to see our tax dollars are supporting the slave labor in China.  The U.S. people and its union workers have been lied to as the unions have gone international and China is a huge untapped market for them – U.S. union workers, you are both suckers and slaves. 

We can see how we are doing or how a particular administrations policies effect job growth in this country.  The U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics reports the number of people employed in the United States.  Looking at past Presidents from 1961 on is quite revealing on the numbers of jobs created under the different administrations:

Obviously, repeating the policies that produced this over the last four years is the logical answer for the nation for the next four years.

I will double down on my conservatism and certainly not back any moderates that the republican elite want to put up and clearly not back any of the leftist progressive socialists the democrats produce.  I will push back to the point of losing elections until they change or no longer exist as a party.  Although I believe Mr. Romney to be reasonably conservative, an honorable man, a Godly man, my problem with him was that he did not aggressively disagree with the President on many important issues.   When he let lies about him go unchallenged letting Obama and his surrogates define him, he lost.  When he let the Benghazi cover-up go unchallenged, not asking any questions, and left it for the President to shape that discussion, as he did with so many other Obama programs, he lost.  The President knew he was lying but no one challenged him, not Mitt, not the press – is this the new America?  As for Benghazi, and those of you who still think there is nothing to it then answer this for yourself, given the President said he knew it was a terrorist attack and he said he stated it as such the next morning from the Rose Garden on a nationally televised debate, then why did he say it was some video and they didn't know all the details, for nearly two weeks thereafter?  Why did he go to the UN some eight days later and say six (6) times it was some video?  He lied to you, either he knew it was a terrorist attack (ALL the communiques now released for you to see say he knew, they all knew) or he didn't – which is it – because he lied to you no matter which one you pick – so ask yourself, why did he lie and is that OK?

I am done with a government, regardless of party, that lies and that has taken over so much of the U.S. private sector:  two thirds of the auto industry (by breaking federal law to give much of GM and Chrysler over to the unions – watch as we are asked to bail them out again), the health care industry (Obamacare), the financial industry (Dodd-Frank); student loans; the shutting down of domestic oil, coal and natural gas industries (via increased regulation), the first taking of private land for government’s sole welfare (Kelo v New London), 16 Trillion in debt, no Constitutionally required Congressionally passed budget for four years (US Senate), a President who continually blames his predecessor with 50% of his followers also buying into that lie (Bush’s fault), the first downgrading of the nations credit worthiness and unending devaluations of the dollar and so much more – we have been heading down the wrong path for to long, real Americans need to stand up.  You know what it is called when government controls privately owned businesses don't you...fascism, and we are on that road my friend.

We are heading in the wrong direction.  God has showed us with this election.  We have turned away from him and it will take more people to wake up, to be forced to their knees in desperation as a second term under the tactics of President Obama’s regime will crush many more then the 23 million out of work and the 45 million on food stamps today – the slaves of apathy and handouts on the government plantation will feel it even more over the next four years.  At what point do you, do these slaves, say we are in danger, we are heading in the wrong direction, we are losing our Constitution and rights of “We the People,” each one of us have to answer for ourselves.  I will continue the fight, I will continue to push back, I will not comply, I have answered.
